Well, well, well Reese Witherspoon who won last nights Generation Award at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards went in. Now, this is exactly the proper format to throw major shade. The 35 year old Oscar winner, stood up for the good girls in her Zac Posen dress. While accepting her award she went on to say “I get it, girls, that it’s cool to be a bad girl.”  Then she slapped a couple chicks in the mouth with, “But it is possible to make it in Hollywood without doing a reality show. When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed.”

Ummm hmmm where art thou Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton?

Then she finally addresses a common problem in all social settings, the naked MMS. “And if you took naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone, you hide your face, people!” LMAO She definitely let the girls have it, cough Blake Lively and all the Cowboys players!  In actuality I don’t think she threw too much shade, I think she was letting girls know to keep their morals and work hard. The last piece of advice needs to be taken seriously by everyone.

I am happy that she said something, it’s time to remind people that you dont have to be known for a scandal. There is plenty opportunity to be remebered for positive things too. I will say, positive works aren’t as greatly publicized as the bad though. Who do we blame media or the consumer? Either way, hide your faces kids!
