The show featured Enertia, Ace Mitch, Vicious Cycle,Double A, The Jett Show, Goat, Lil Melo, Lu Sloan,K MC, Leon the Pro. All rappers have a distict and different style. Enertia has the smooth sexy rapping style, while new comer The Jett Show keeps his rhymes gritty and street. Then you have Vicious Cycle who reminds me of floetry minus the singing. Lu Sloan has a cute sound, I’d like to hear more from him.
Dallas a city infused with various sounds, collectively came together to show off different styles. The city, known for dance music anthems, is truly at an evolving point. Some artist have spearheaded a saying “New Dallas”, in attempts to escape the stereotypes of “wack, dancing rappers”.
I’m definitely feeling the movement and look forward to hearing and seeing more. Below is The Jett Show doing a freestyle check it out!

Jennifer Holliday, gave a great performance as herself in the play. And yes Lawd this play had Christan Keyes in it with a scene where of course, his shirt comes off. When it comes to party life, I am definitely about that life. I love to experience places that have a mature, sexy crowd and one that likes to dance. Well I definitely walked into that this past Saturday, at Ladies Love Saturday at Victory Tavern.

Chandra and Lil Duval
Ok so, to say I am a dear advocate of fcuk the club. I actually caught myself out this past two weeks. First was the very lavish party at Em Lounge for the Mavericks victory party. Shot out to Dre,(Drizzie Inc) Fred, (WWEGEvents) and Casino (Ikon) and S.E.G. They put on a very tasteful event that had the likes of Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Terry, Tyson Chandler and Marc Cuban. Various NFL players, rappers and producers Play N Skillz were in attendence. I myself drank too much and fell like three times. (OH THE SHAME) Hey, I had fun and that what you are supposed to do when you go out!
Then this past weekend was Josh Howards celebrity weekend, with a comedy show staring Lil Duval, also actress Megan Good, Terrel Owens, Kenyon Martin, Chanita Foster just to name a few. Shot out to Grand Hustle for letting me get an interview with Lil Duval but unfortunately my videographer was busy. So I asked a question or two LOL. Lil Duval, is currently working on a pilot for MTV and has upcoming tour dates check out his site www.imrichbroke.com . If I had anything to say about it was, that he is very funny.

I got to catch up with Football Wives star Chanita Foster at the comedy show. She is super fun and funny! See, sometimes people come across so differently on t.v. I guess there was a little drama surrounding Chanita’s interview on the radio that morning. I guess Pilar showed up to the comedy show mugging Chanita. I guess I could have asked her did this happen? Any who, I hope Pilar isn’t trying to start drama with the other cast members just to get another season. That’s so childish. That’s one of the things I appreciated about Football Wives, that they were all grown women with careers and ambitions.Blah!
Well I stumbled across a Dallas R&B group Whoisladyjane video called “Addiction” its super hot check it out!

So its a new dance going viral on the internet…Im not one for all this jiggin and so forth…BUT if the kids love it! Hey why not..
Dallas music scene is notoriously known for dancing, jigging and the dougie. With newer artists stepping away from the dance music and focusing on just club music its almost set up a division amongst artists. You can hear other artists saying” I don’t dance I dont jig”. Well, thats neither here nor there in my opinion. There is definetely a type of music movement going on within the Dallas Fort Worth Area…
My notable mentions are Twisted Black and Wudabang (Just realeased a mixtape called Controlled Substance) from Fort Worth… Trai D who has a song called Popular ft Tyga…Official Watson who has “She Hot” ft Dorrough…Tum Tum…Beat King…Price Rick and Treal Lee…Lil Ronnie…Blaqdior…And Dorrough stays on the radio with numerous hits.. Get into this video!
