I’d be lying if I said I didn’t like Drake’s music or think he was super talented. However, I do realize that he’s a tad softer than Downy and probably was more suited for the Renaissance era. None the less, I loved the parody mostly cause Wayne and Baby were hilariously accurate. Drake’s Newest album Nothing Was The Same is available now on iTunes. I wish I knew which stripper he was saving this week so I could interview her and ask her about his gifts and bedroom behavior.
Maybe it’s Canadian men, perhaps they got that work. Someone let me know whats popppin in Toronto.
So Big Sean released a song via Funk Master Flex called “Control” featuring Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica. The meat of the song was Kendrick calling his self the King of NY… Said Asap had on a dress and Drake liked to make love on rose petals. Ok he didn’t say that about Asap and Drake. But he did say that those two amongst others need to step their game up.
The jokes sprayed like an AK on Twitter since this. Mostly everyone is in agreement that Kendrick set the bar. I agree. Let’s see what the other rapletes will do. Oh, heres some tweets with no links to songs others posted.
Tuh!! Well let’s see what this week brings… I’m here for it…Listen to the song
Clearly Drizzy is winning and has been for a while now. Jay-Z admitted that Drake is his only competition in the rap game, that’s saying a lot. One thing people love about Drake is his realness, he will give you a smooth R&B song, hit them notes, give you tears, come right back with some rap and remain unbothered. As much as these rappers come at Drake it’s only fair that he clap back.
In a recent interview with XXL mag, drake talks “fake thug images” among rappers:
“Do I think that if I didn’t have, for lack of a better term, a unique look about me, if I was from somewhere in America and if I hadn’t been on a kids TV show [Degrassi: The Next Generation], would I be as famous? I don’t know, man. Honestly, I don’t think so. I was just some young kid on a TV show. And I haven’t become anything else while I’ve been in this position. It’s not like I got here and was like, “Oh, got to switch up my image.” I don’t wake up nervous. I feel like maybe a lot of these guys do. How old are you, really? What is your background, really? What have you really done in the drug game, in the thug game?”
“It’s tough for me. That’s a guy I can’t pretend not to like. He’s the guy to me, in a lot of ways. That’s Kanye West. But I’m also here to be the best. I’m here to surpass. I’m here to outdo. I’m ready for whatever with anybody.”
And there you have it. You may not like Drake, but you gotta respect him
Last night Drake released a new single off of his upcoming album “Nothing Was The Same” available in stores Sept 17th. I’m always excited when a consistent artist such as Drizzy puts out a new album. I can’t lie I’m not loving this new single featuring Big Sean and 2 Chainz. “All Me” is produced by Key Wayne with an intro from Aziz Ansari. The single will be on the album.
Take a listen and leave your thoughts:
Just in case your ass is on late bus time, there was a bottle brawl involving rapletes, Chris Brown, Meek Mill and Drake. It has yet to be confirmed what all took place. Just know Chris got hurt, Drake hid in a bathroom n Meek Mill kicked some hoes off the tour bus. Which also left two victims, in the bottle melee.
Meek Mill went and told… that Drake nor Chris Brown threw anything… Well duh, did we expect him to admit he seen some grown men doing women’s work in the club? I have no idea what happened but somebody is about to get a check. Wish it was me!! I would have loved to have hit myself in the stomach and got me some lap band surgery.
Nothing epic ever happens when I got out!! One thing for CERTAIN Rihanna needs to be putting whatever is inside her coochie on the market!! Well at any rate stay tuned and find out what happens next on the Rapper Wives…
Maybach Music HNIC made his way to Dallas, Texas, to give from what I hear, was a great concert! The rapper, who just recently signed R&B crooner Omarion, had just came in from a signing party from Atlanta. It was at a sold out concert at Beamers nightclub in Dallas. He is not the only rapper who will be in the city of Cowboys. Rappers Drake and 2 Chainz will be there Wednesday for the Paradise Tour. You can catch them at the after party at club Zouk. Go to www.clubzoukdallas.com for more info on tickets and tables…
Well, not much to say other than I was going to post the video, but it was kinda lame to me… So I found a parody song that had me laughing. I do like Drake’s Headlines song but not the video. Meh!
2727 Crossview (Loacted near Westheimer and Fondren) the new home for Dreams in Houston was a blaze this weekend. Mega star Rihanna came in for a visit…Was it to see the feature dancer Maliah Michelle? I say that, because she was featured in raplete Drakes video and refrenced in many of his songs…Rihanna is who supposedly rumored to be dating Drake, might have came in to see her boo’s favorite dancer. Or, maybe she really just wanted to see some fat asses and pretty faces.
Can I take this time to say what up!!! To my personal favorite LYNN…Yes Lawd, she is the cats meow LOL
They say she got on stage and was blowing money fast! I have no clue, I was not there..Why, I dont know?! But anywho, sources say she had a great time and even went to the batroom there… Now I wonder what wierdo went and looked for that piece of toilet paper.
Make sure when you are Houston to hit up one of the hottest Gentlemans Club, tell them Zeralyn and Rihanna sent you.
