Last night Drake released a new single off of his upcoming album “Nothing Was The Same” available in stores Sept 17th. I’m always excited when a consistent artist such as Drizzy puts out a new album. I can’t lie I’m not loving this new single featuring Big Sean and 2 Chainz. “All Me” is produced by Key Wayne with an intro from Aziz Ansari. The single will be on the album.

Take a listen and leave your thoughts:

WE THE BEST!!! I can’t help but scream that, whenever Dj Khaled is involved. We got the 2nd single off Khaled’s upcoming album “Suffering From Success”. The title definitely fits, as anything Dj Khaled touches has hands in the air and twerk stances in full effect. The lineup alone has me excited about this new single. Nicki, Future AND Rick Ross, Now you KNOW this about to be a club anthem for sure.

Red Cups are symbolic to the Texas drank culture. As a former Texas resident, I grasp the concept of “drank in my cup, man hold up”. So no surprise here when artist S. Fresh took the concept on his latest mix-tape “Red Cups and After Partys” … While pushing his latest single “Like Me” the rapper, is steadily working on other videos and his GLM brand.

Hosting parties, as well as doing shows has kept the rapper busy. However, he has stil had time to cultivate a fourth quarter press run that would make a veteran rapper nervous. From Shreeveport to Houston, Atlanta to Dallas. The rapper is definitely making his presence known.

Make sure you follow him on TWITTER. As well as subscribe to his YOUTUBE

Hey, I just wanted to keep you updated with one of the most humble, yet business minded rappers I know. Make sure you get his new mixtape Campaign. With him focusing on his career, yet steadily maintaining to do all his good works, I wonder when does he sleep. With the wave of internet taking over as the main music source, I’m sure Trae hasn’t even noticed he was banned from Clear Channel. I surely haven’t, he is always working. Make sure you cop the new mixtape and dowwnload his app on iTUNES.

My interview with Trae at 2 Chainz concert…

Trae the Truth ft Lil Duval, No lie

Thugged Out, also Known as Mutt and Jeff has some very exciting things heading your way this year in 2012. A part of DIrty Game Reocrds, the rap duo who are twin brothers have benn making waves since 2009.

As the featured artists of the week, the two have been featured in XXL and Source magaine… Check Out their song Swagged Out, I worked out to it this morning!

It’s the year of the Katy Perry. MTV VMA hit her with 9 nominations, of which she deserves. She has had one of the hottest albums this year so she greatly deserves such a honor.

Not to be confused, Adele came in with 7 nominations. The British singer is up for a major category, Video of the Year.

Kanye falls in right next to Adele with his 7 nominations. He just released a new song with Jay-Z called Otis.
Click below and give it a listen. I love it personally can’t wait for them to release Watch the Throne.

When people often compare female rappers to Nicki Minaj. Most comparisons are based on their look, or their excessive attempts to sound like here. Here I give you Guyana, the Miami rapper has great bars and a wonderful voice.

In this cover of Marvins Room (yeah I know it’s been a million) she displays real life raw talent. NFL player Bryant Mckinnie has BMajor music, which the rapper is signed to. If you have ever been the victim of a chick harassing your man, her version of Marvins Room is relatable.

After much anticipation, Big Sean released  “Finally famous ” and the album has been recieving rave riews. When I ran into him at 97.9 The Beat, in Dallas he had no CD for me to review.. LOL Or was that a ploy for me to go out and buy it. Either way the rapper, who was smaller than I thought he was. Had a great personality and was willing to take pictures and do interviews. A lot of rappers, are so disconnected from the fact that being personable will attract loyal fans. Oh, shot out to Beat personality Tenay for hooking that up.  You can follow her on Twitter and find the times that she is on the air.

The album was executive produced by Kanye West and NO I.D. It has features from Lupe Fiasco, Chris Brown, Pusha T and more… I will say I personally like “I Do It” and “Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay” He was in Dallas this past weekend opening for Wiz Khalifa at the Verizon Wireless Center. …He’s pictured below with my Friend Ashley at the Beat…

King Bey...

Reminding me of the late 90′s R&B group Zhane, Beyonce on her fourth leaked track brings you back to the basics. Continuing with her more adult and feel good music, like other songs like “1+1″ and “Best Thing I Never Had”. The track produced by Kanye and Consequence, features an opening liner by Kanye. Of course, rapper Andre 3000 serves his eloquent and sexy rap style to put the cherry on top.

I was speaking with a friend of mine the other day, it’s Like Beyonce is trying to slowly but surely introduce you into her new sound of music. As almost as to confuse you, she has released four tracks that to me, don’t quite go together but somehow belong. This mature, and sensual style she is delivering is setting the tone for King Bey.

I might be young, but I’m ready/To give you all my love/I told my girls you can get it

Yes BEY work HUNNI!
